Calvary Youth (Sr. High) on Sunday Mornings

Sr. High (Grades 9 thru 12)

Every week during the Sunday School Hour we meet to spend time in fellowship and Bible Study. At the present time we are studing the teachings of Jesus Christ. We are focusing on how His teachings are still relevant and practical for each of us today - so many years after He shared them while He was on earth. Recently we have studied His instructions for our prayer life, the parables that He shared, and we are presently exploring the Cross. It is our goal to share with teenagers what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

Jr. High – Teen Be’live’rs (Grades 6 thru 8)

Our Jr. High School church staff and fellow young teen believers look forward to welcoming you to our church.

On behalf of the students I‘d like you to know, we all look forward to spending our Sundays worshiping with you and our Sunday School hour learning with you. We work hard at making God’s word come alive for you.

We are presently traveling through the prophets of the Old Testament. We are focusing on each prophet in a “Prophet Convention” format. We do our best to make you feel like “Your were there…”.

Come check us out, we’re sure you’ll feel at home. In case you were wondering, we have an empty seat with your name on it!

Calvary Youth (Jr. & Sr. High) on Wednesday Evenings

Our Wednesday night Youth Program provides a time we can share the Gospel message with teenagers in an informal setting. Our evenings are a continuous cycle of learning. We regularly have " Guys only" and "Girls only" evenings that allow the students to better understand themselves as individuals. Monthly we have Jr. High / Sr. High combined evenings where we as a group fellowship and learn together how to deal with current issues and concerns that we are bombarded with daily. We deal with practical, as well as personal ways that we can combat Satan while we grow closer to God.

Our monthly activities allow us to fellowship and enjoy each other's company. Most of our activities are social in nature. It is important to provide the teenagers that come our way with activities such as skating, concerts, amusement parks, game nights and sporting events. We also include activities that provide a service to the church. It is exciting to see that teenagers have many talents to offer to each other, the church and the community. We believe that teenagers are special people!
